St George's Day random pic.

This is Pete, who happened to be walking round Smithfield Rotunda when he was grabbed and asked to pose for this St George’s Day pic. We forgot to ask what Pete does for a living, but he wears ties and red roses rather well.
HINT The British are fairly low-key when it comes to celebrations, although we are getting better and we liked the Olympics last year. The Cross of St George (and indeed St George himself) are shared with other countries . In fact, according to Wiki, St. George is the patron saint of Aragon, Catalonia, England, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Palestine, Portugal, and Russia, as well as the cities of Amersfoort, Beirut, Ferrara, Freiburg, Genoa, Ljubljana, and Moscow, as well as a wide range of professions, organisations and disease sufferers.
We fly his flag though and particularly at big national football games. And never call football soccer in the UK. It’s not soccer. It’s football. Thank you.
